Hola! Tanto tiempo! I went home for Christmas break for about a month and had a great time. However, I was ready to come back to my home here in Madrid. Most of the students this semester are new, studying for just one semester. Although it is sad that most of my friends are back at their home campuses, all the new people seem very nice and I´m sure this will be a great semester! There was a welcome trip to Sevilla, the south of Spain, this semester. I did not go on this trip because my mom came to Spain to visit me :) , but I heard it was a great time!
I am just getting settled back into life here at Suffolk Madrid. Classes started last week and so far I love mine! This semester, I am taking Calculus, Macroeconomics, Freshman English, and Madrid as a Cosmopolitan City! The classes are small, which I love. Most of my teachers already know my name, a wonderful benefit of attending a small campus.
I am still living in a student residence. However, this semester, I have a new Spanish roomate. She is very nice, and it is fun praticing my spanish with her! One of my best friends here also lives in the residence and we have been already falling back into our old routines...eating at the close little pizza place every weekend, dinner at the residence 8:30 pm, and venturing out into Madrid! I am very glad to be back and I think this is going to be, once again, an amazing semester! =)
